Sabian Symbol- THE LUMINESCENCE OF DAWN IN THE EASTERN SKY.
The Moon’s phases are a part of human consciousness, and its movements affect systems on earth and sea. When we become aware of and align our activities to the Moon’s cycles we find a greater connection to both our body’s and intuitive wisdom.
This New Moon is conjunct the Sun, strong in its domicile of Leo. It’s a “sunnier” energy than we have felt recently, bringing with it a powerful dynamic available for hope, health and creative visioning. Mercury in Leo joins our luminaries and Mars trines the group too, emphasizing Leo’s energetic fire and inspiration.
We DO have connections though with our New Moon/Sun and Mars in tough aspect to the powerful Saturn and Pluto conjunction RX. We may WANT to move forward assertively, but the “powers that be” are blocking us, making us wait. This energy connects with the frustrating Mar’s retrograde in September. For now, STAY POSITIVE. Get creative. Make plans and focus on the light at the end of tunnel -and what you WANT to manifest by years end.
Use the New Moon time period to plant the seeds- of new growth, vision and desire. Then turn your vision into a mantra to offset any struggles that emerge in the next few months. If you are Astrology savvy, you can also find where Leo at 26 degree falls in your Natal Chart, that is, the house with Leo as ruler of the cusp, any planets you may have in Leo etc. This is where you can use this energy best, to move forward in the area of life indicated by the House position. The day or two just before the New Moon is perfect for crystallizing your thoughts and plans, but you can do this work anytime within a few days of the event. Pay attention and get clear. Ask yourself -What Do I Really Want? What Do I Need? How Do I Feel? (New Moons can begin a new emotional/feeling cycle) On the day of the New Moon use the energy of new beginnings to create a ritual around your desires. You can write down your wishes on paper or in a journal, light a candle as you hold these wishes in your mind, or join with others to create a ceremony around it.
We first sow the seeds of our intentions internally, then cultivate them with action as they are revealed with the first quarter square a week later and upcoming Full Moon September 2nd.
Blessings to you,
