Full “ Harvest” Moon in 9 Aries, October 1st, 2:05 pdt

Sabian Symbol: A TEACHER GIVES NEW SYMBOLIC FORMS TO TRADITIONAL IMAGES

Full Moons make us crazy.

Most of us have heard that emergency room personnel handle more cases, first responders see increased accidents and crime during the full of the moon. Those that deny thousands of years of correlation do so at their peril. The words Lunatic, Lunacy come from Luna, Latin for Moon.

We also know the full moons exert physical pull on the living earth, from tides to the mating cycles of animals as she (Moon cycles have ever been associated with Women and their own cycles) is present in the cyclical nature of all life. Astrologically, the Full Moon corresponds to the cycle of fullness and release, energy that gives birth, that culminates and illuminates our lunar or instinctual landscape. Buried treasures can venture forth from our psyche, into the light of conscious awareness.

This particular lunation comes with a backdrop of EXTRA drama in the collective energy via it’s dispositor Mars in Aries conjunct Goddess of discord Eris and Black Moon Lilith, the apogee (farthest point) of the moon. It’s fiery, fractious energy, hot and bothered, restrained by its retrograde and ready to explode as it is blocked by cold as ice Saturn and Pluto in earthy Capricorn. With the Black Moon, deep feminine dis-enfranchised energy is rising up, yet the terminator planets are having their way and stopping the flow- for now.

Chiron also conjuncts Luna, bringing an element of woundedness, especially of identity and mortality, tensions are released in fears and isolation, patience wears thin. Our pandemic has not “ gone away” our very lives threatened, yet we must hold still and listen as Saturn now direct, provides clues to the best way to steadily navigate our way through. Remember we will ALL feel the energy now, but those with the Luminaries or Ascendants in Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) are more likely to be triggered.

We have a month of major action in store with Mercury retrograde in Scorpio on the 13th, The Sun and New Moon squares to Mars and Jupiter and Saturn and Pluto throughout and a BLUE MOON on the 31st

This Month will be like no other my dear ones, buckle up. Remember a new paradigm is brewing, look ahead to our Solstice. Keep the Faith. Release negativity this full moon by writing your fears or negative ideas on pieces of paper or bay leaves, then safely burn or destroy them.

Find inspiration to continue the good fight in positive "Saturnian" figures, MLK, RBG, Mr. Miyagi, Yoda, Lao Tzu and more. Use their teachings and wisdom to inspire you to keep going in dark times, eyes on the prize.
